ROBERTO GARAVAGLIA

Biography

Strategic Advisor in Innovative Payments and blockchain, he's been helping banks and companies in the creation of new value propositions for over thirty years, supporting them in defining their strategy. In 2014, he was among the first in Italy to work on blockchain finance. Alongside his consulting work, he's involved in scientific dissemination and teaching at companies and universities. Since 2008, he's been working with POLIMI SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT as a trainer in the fintech field and supports the Digital Innovation Observatories, contributing his experience to the analysis of strategies for the digitalisation of the economy. He has written many publications published by PoliMI and the Bank of Italy on topics concerning innovation and regulation of innovative payment systems and blockchain. As author, he published the bestseller “Tutto su Blockchain” in 2018, “Conoscere la blockchain” in 2021, “Tutto sugli NFT” in 2022, the latter also translated into Spanish, for Hoepli Editore.
