ROBERTO CATANZARO

Biography

Since January 2023, Roberto Catanzaro has been Chief Business Officer Merchant Solutions at Nexi, where he previously was Chief Transformation & Strategy Officer from 2021 to 2023, and Business Development Director from 2016 to 2021, coordinating projects of digital and strategic innovation and transformation. After graduating in Chemical Engineering, he started his career at the consulting firms Accenture and McKinsey, coordinating CRM, Marketing, and Sales projects for prime financial services industries. From 2005 to 2014, he worked at Allianz Italia, taking on managerial roles in Commercial, Planning, and Marketing. Among other tasks, he dealt with Allianz’s digital transformation, working on its front office platforms and CRM systems, and developing and improving modern analytical marketing tools and a European e-business platform. He has been working at Nexi (formerly CartaSi) since 2014, where he previously was Marketing Director.
