Biography
Mauro Pernigo is Business Director in the Global Transaction Banking Department at Intesa Sanpaolo and a member of the Swift Board of Directors. With extensive experience in Asset Management, Payment Services, and Compliance, he also worked in the Payments and Markets Division of the European Central Bank, contributing to the drafting of the Target2Securities user requirements. Mauro represents the Italian Users Group on the SWIFT advisory committee: the Payments Market Practice Group (PMPG). Within the PMPG, he is a member of the CPMI Joint Task Force (JTF), along with delegates from the major central banks and market infrastructures.
