Biography
Massimo Battistella has built his entire career in treasury and corporate finance. Since 2024, he has been serving as the Head of Administration & Accounting at Fibercop S.p.A. Previously, he held positions such as Head of Operational Treasury and Head of Accounting Operations at TIM. Additionally, he has been Group Treasurer and Finance Director at Danieli & C. Spa. and Finance Manager at Blu Spa.. Since 2007, he has been a board member and currently Vice President of the Italian Association of Corporate Treasurers (AITI). Since 2011, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the European Association of Corporate Treasurers (EACT). For AITI, he is a member of the Payments Committee Italy (CPI) at the Bank of Italy. For EACT, he participates in the Scheme End Users MSG of the EPC and the Payments System Market Expert Group (PSMEG) of the European Commission. He has extensive experience in finance, cash management, payment services and instruments, treasury systems.
