Biography

Senior Account Manager at PAX Italia, part of the PAX Technology group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of payment terminals and a pioneer in Android-based SmartPOS systems. He has over 30 years' experience in the electronic payments sector in Italy. Over the years, he has witnessed the evolution of the POS from a simple payment device to an advanced point of contact that connects merchants, consumers and value-added services. Before joining PAX, he worked at Nexi, where he contributed to the growth of digital payments in Italy. At PAX Italia, he collaborates with banks, acquirers, PSPs and financial institutions, as well as with leading supermarket and retail chains. He also works closely with the leading system integrators in the market. His main objective is the integration of SmartPOS terminals with point-of-sale systems and the introduction of apps, services and new business models on the terminals. His aim is to make payments simpler, more secure and better integrated for both merchants and consumers.
