Biography
Luca Corti is Country Manager Italy at Mastercard. In his role, he leads the Italian market in its evolution towards digitalization with the aim of shaping the future of payments and services using cutting-edge technologies. At Mastercard since 2008, Luca has extensive experience in business strategy and development in IT, digital banking services, and fintech sectors. Over the years, he has held various positions of increasing responsibility within the company, including Vice President of Business Development and Strategy and, most recently, Vice President of FinTech and Digital Partners Italy. Previously, he also held the position of Customer Security & Risk Manager for Italy and Greece. His previous experience includes a formative career at SIA (now Nexi), where he held various roles in the field of payments and supporting technology, including product design in the area of security and fraud management. Luca has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano and a Master's degree in Mathematics and Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London.
