Biography

Director in the Market and Payment System Oversight Directorate of Banca d'Italia. A law graduate, he focuses on payment system regulation and oversight, business continuity, and cybersecurity of financial sector infrastructure. He has been member of various international fora and working groups at the G7, ECB, the European Commission and the European Banking Authority dealing with policy and regulatory issues on payment services, business continuity and cybersecurity for financial sector. He's currently member of the Executive Board of the Italian Financial Computer Emergency Response Team (CERTFin) .
