Biography

Chief Financial Officer, Hoist Italy | Executive MBA | Finance Transformation, M&A and Business Strategy Leader Gian Marco Tolone is a senior finance executive with over 29 years of experience gained within multinational corporations and international organizations across the financial services, information services, technology and consulting sectors. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of Hoist Italy, where he leads the Finance function and supports the company's strategic development, overseeing financial planning, M&A activities, corporate integrations, governance and organizational transformation. Throughout his career, he has held positions of increasing responsibility at Experian, IBM and PwC, operating in international and multicultural environments and working closely with regional and global leadership teams. He has developed extensive expertise in budgeting and forecasting, performance management, corporate restructuring, due diligence, acquisitions, divestitures and the implementation of innovative operating models. Having served on several Boards of Directors, Gian Marco has led international Finance teams and contributed to major growth, efficiency and value-creation initiatives. His expertise combines deep knowledge of international and local accounting standards with a strong ability to translate financial data and insights into strategic business decisions. He holds a degree in Economics and Banking from the University of Siena and an Executive MBA from LUISS Business School.
