Biography

Giampaolo Colletti is an Italian professional journalist. Since 2022, he has served as Editor-in-Chief of StartupItalia, one of Italy’s leading magazines covering innovation and entrepreneurship. For more than twenty years, he has written about marketing, innovation, and business transformation for Il Sole 24 Ore, Italy’s leading financial newspaper, as a contributing columnist. He is also an author and special correspondent for XXI Secolo, the television program hosted by Francesco Giorgino and broadcast every Monday evening on Rai 1. He teaches Social Media Management at IULM University in Milan and at the Institute for Journalism Training in Urbino. Throughout his career, he has contributed to major Italian media outlets, including la Repubblica, Rai 3, and Radio 24. He is the author of several books on business culture, innovation, and technology, published by Gruppo 24 Ore, Hoepli, and ROI Edizioni. His latest book, which he edited together with Anna Gionfriddo, is A un passo dal domani (One Step from Tomorrow), published by Egea, the publishing house of Bocconi University. He is also responsible for Sella’s owned media strategy and editorial content. Before focusing full-time on journalism and editorial leadership, he spent twenty years in corporate communications, holding management roles at Vodafone, Technogym, and Sanofi. Founder of the job community Wwworkers.it, Giampaolo Colletti was awarded the Vincenzo Dona Journalism Award 2025 in recognition of his contribution to journalism.
