Biography

With over 30 years of experience in the Italian banking sector, I have been actively involved in the development and implementation of payment services in the country. As a member of committees at the Bank of Italy, CPI, CIPA, and ABI working groups, I contributed to defining Italian banking services and creating the technological and application infrastructures utilized by Italian Banks and Domestic ACHs. My experience includes participation in the definition of SEPA services for Italian ACHs (creation of ACH Seceti SPA, which later became Nexi). Additionally, I played a pivotal role in developing the Seceti SPA company, contributing to a better positioning in Italian market. Another important experience was collaborating with the Bank of Italy for integrating the BICOMP settlement system with the services provided by the domestic ACH and participating in the project CABI. Over the years, I have successfully led the migration of several Italian banking groups and institutions to crucial domestic ACH such as Seceti, Nexi, and Worldline, and I have been involved in various projects where I held various roles. I am proud of the collaboration with my colleagues and experts in the Italian banking system, which has allowed me to grow professionally and be part of developing innovative services that are now integral to the Italian and European payment system.
