FRANCESCO RIZZO

Biography

Francesco Rizzo graduated with honors in Law from the University of Trento in December 2013. He began his professional career at two of the most prestigious law firms in Italy, where he developed specialized expertise in tax litigation and fiscal advisory related to complex transactions in M&A, real estate, banking, and corporate restructuring. Since November 2016, he has served at the Bank of Italy, where he currently holds the position of Advisor. Within the institution, he has worked on strategic areas including banking litigation (Banking and Financial Ombudsman), FinTech and supervision of banking intermediaries. Alongside his institutional responsibilities, he is actively engaged in university-level teaching and financial education initiatives.
