Biography

Fiorenzo Pilla is Fraud Prevention Manager at Numia, where he leads strategic initiatives to thwart digital fraud and develop advanced monitoring and detection systems for payment security. With extensive experience in the financial and technology sectors, he brings expertise in risk assessment, process design, and cross-functional team leadership, driving innovation in fraud prevention. Beyond his managerial role, Pilla is deeply engaged in the study and dissemination of artificial intelligence. He is the author of "Intelligenze Parallele", a volume aimed at demystifying AI concepts for a general audience. He is also co-author of "Uno, nessuno, ChatGPT", a collaborative work examining the potentials, limitations, ethical challenges, and societal implications of generative AI models like ChatGPT.
