Biography

Cristian Falasca is Head of Business Innovation at CBI, where he focuses on developing new service models and innovative solutions for the financial ecosystem, with a particular focus on the evolution of CBI corporate banking, digital payments and value-added services, as well as emerging opportunities related to the Digital Euro. He has over twenty years of experience in financial services, payments and cash management. At BNL - BNP Paribas, he held roles as Product Owner and Cash Management Lead for the Public Administration within Global Transaction Banking, working on initiatives related to instant payments, SEPA, Verification of Payee, cross-border payments, PSP driven services and pagoPA. Earlier in his career, he spent ten years at CBI, contributing to the evolution of CBI and CBILL services, e-invoicing and integration with pagoPA. He holds a degree in Political Economics from Sapienza University of Rome.
