Biography

Carlo VERME is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience in the payments industry. He has held leadership roles at prominent companies such as Visa and American Express and currently serves as the Vice President, Financial Partnerships at Shift4. At Shift4, a company that provides end-to-end solutions (including hardware, software, and services) to simplify payment acceptance for businesses in sectors like hospitality, e-commerce, entertainment, and retail, Carlo is globally responsible for managing relationships with international payment schemes and banking partners. His expertise in managing strategic partnerships and accounts, defining market entry strategies, and product management has enabled him to support numerous companies in the payments sector to grow their business, increase market share, and introduce innovative solutions. Carlo holds a master's in business administration (MBA) from IESE Business School in Barcelona and a degree in Business & Economics from Luigi Bocconi University in Milan.
