PRETA S.A.S. was created in 2014 to develop and innovate market competitiveservices in digital payment and identity solutions.Today PRETA is the owner and the solution manager of MyBank, an e-authorizationsolution enabling the exchange of financial and non-financial information betweenvarious categories of players and facilitated by banks. The company is a fully ownedsubsidiary of EBA CLEARING, the provider of pan-European payment infrastructuresolutions currently owned by 51 shareholder banks.PRETA's objective is to ensure the protection of people's cyber, electronic anddigital identity and empower them with secure and simple solutions for their onlineand mobile activities. It has a Pan-European perspective and encourages theinclusion and collaboration of all players - from industry authorities to businesses,government and system integrators - to drive forward the European digital economyand Digital Single Market.Following the stakeholder consultation started in 2016 to determine industryrequirements, PRETA has launched Open Banking Europe to build a PSD2 Pan-European directory solution to support market actors in meeting the PSD2 access-to-account provisions.
