BizDev is a strategic and operational consulting firm operating through the expertise of its founders and senior partners, who have joined forces over the past two years in several areas related to Payments and IoT. More specifically, BizDev partners with banks, acquirers, fintech companies and payment and banking system integrators, as well as major clients in the retail and oil sectors. Strategic Consulting We monitor market trends and analyse market needs to guide our clients’ decisions. We support projects and work alongside our clients to design their go-to-market strategies. We have a thorough understanding of the regulatory framework and can define the most effective path to market, within the planned timelines and budget, taking into account both regulatory and technological requirements. Operational Consulting We work with our clients to analyse and design processes and, where appropriate, products, helping to ensure the success of the planned product or service. We have established relationships with leading partners and suppliers of devices and infrastructure in the payments sector. We support the business development activities of DATECS, an emerging European manufacturer of OEM terminals specialising in mPOS and Android terminals. We are also launching a highly innovative UPT solution for vending, parking and kiosk applications, as well as for the transit sector. Technical Consulting, R&D and Project Management Through BizPlus S.r.l. and other group companies, we manage complex processes, from selecting technologies and hardware or software suppliers to project-managing complex projects in regulated environments. Drawing on our in-house expertise and that of selected partners, we have delivered several projects in the payments sector. These include: Payment terminals: We developed and certified our own CB2 kernel, deployed on DATECS products and other devices. We have also managed the CB2 certification processes for DATECS and other products, including key management, TMS and Secure Android Store. SIB software platform: Working with software development partners, we delivered the entire core banking platform for two Payment Institutions, bringing them into operation with tens of thousands of users and integrating acquiring, issuing, payment account and open banking solutions.
